Keeping Your Website Fresh, How Often Should You Update Your Website?

I review the content of my websites probably once every month or two. Why? Because my business is changing. I learn new skills and need to update my services, I update my portfolio with new work, or I add a new blog post.

Updating your site is good for your Google ranking, fresh sites rank better. There are even pages called Zombie pages. Surprise, surprise, you want to get rid of these unvisited (un)dead pages. So review your google analytics and delete pages that no one visits.

I have two ways for you to feel comfortable updating your site. The first, I make the site for you and I’ll send you videos of ME updating YOUR website. For years I would meet with clients in person once their site was complete, train them and then they had forgotten how to do it within a couple of weeks. The videos I create live forever on my account for you to revisit when you are ready to update your website.

The second way is for me to train you to use Squarespace and we build your website together. You and I do a 1 on 1 - 1 Day Workshop. We build about 2 pages based on your skill level and you get even create new pages on your own, with the confidence of learning Squarespace with an expert on hand guiding you through.

Work with me and you’ll feel good about keeping your website fresh.
